Follow Sean - The Jamaica Wedding

November 21st, 2008 by Sean - NWA WorldVacations

Jamaica Wedding width=The main reason we took this vacation was to attend our friend’s destination wedding. Their Jamaica wedding was at Half Moon Resort in Montego Bay, Jamaica and was probably the most beautiful wedding I have ever been to!

Let me set the scene for you. Imagine sitting on a large stone patio in the shade of palm trees, over looking a gorgeous sand beach on the aqua blue waters of the Caribbean Sea all while the sun is setting, a violin playing “Pachelbel’s canon” and white Orchid flower pedals filling the aisle…it can’t get much more perfect than that! The wedding message was also just as amazing as the setting and there wasn’t a dry eye in the house. As the couple kissed to finalize their union it looked like the sun exploded out of a cloud shooting rays every direction as if God was putting His blessing on the marriage.

Why Try an All-Inclusive Resort?

July 18th, 2008 by Susan - NWA WorldVacations

Beach SceneThe popularity of all-inclusive vacations and resorts has skyrocketed in the past five years. They offer programs for everyone including families, couples, and singles. All-inclusive vacations and resorts come in all shapes and sizes, from ultra-luxurious mega resorts to quaint, boutique-style hotels.

But everyone always wants to know…Do they really include EVERYTHING? The answer is yes… and no.

Here’s what’s usually included (ask about your particular resort to be sure):

  • All meals, snacks, non-alcoholic beverages and most alcoholic beverages.
  • Some activities, depending on what your resort has available, such as tennis, golf, diving or snorkeling, other water sports, and workouts.

Family Vacations Travel Tips
Whether you are taking a family vacation on a warm, sunny beach or traveling to Washington, D.C. for a first-hand lesson in American history, you will have more fun and relax easier if you plan ahead using these travel tips:

Book early - When you book early, you can take advantage of early booking discounts, special hotel offers - not to mention the dates you need to fit into your children’s school schedule.

Choose a family friendly destination - You may not want a destination that features discos and nightclubs if your children go to bed at 8 pm. Instead you will want plenty of entertaining daytime activities or historical/cultural learning opportunities.
