NWA WorldVacations® has made it even easier for travelers to visit more great places by adding popular destinations in California and Arizona to the Mileage Saver Vacations program.
The Mileage Saver Vacations program allows travelers to use their Northwest Airlines WorldPerks® miles at discounted levels towards the air portion of their vacation packages that include roundtrip air transportation and choice of hotel accommodations. It’s a great alternative for WorldPerks members to use their miles and save on travel.

Heading to Mexico?
If so, you are not alone. Mexico is the top spring break destination this year, which is no surprise due to the beautiful beaches, awesome resorts, and fun activities.
We’ve compiled a few travel tips to help you prepare for your trip:
- Bring $1 bills for tipping maids, bellman, and bartenders as getting change in U.S. dollars for larger bills may be difficult. The tips are included at most all-inclusive resorts but you tend to get outstanding service for the duration of your vacation when you give the wait staff and bartenders extra tips early on and throughout your stay.

My husband and I, along with another couple visited Manzanillo, Mexico recently (Feb. 22-Mar 1 ‘08). We had never traveled there so it was a new experience for us. Our flights were all on time and pleasant so we enjoyed a full week at the all-inclusive Karmina Palace.

Las Vegas has long been the hot spot for high rollers. Since the launch of the NWA WorldVacations LIFESTYLE Collection featuring Luxury, our customers don’t have to set foot in a casino to get VIP treatment and live the life of a high roller in true Las Vegas style.
Although it’s true that there will always be something for everyone in Vegas, the city has emerged in recent years as a contender for Luxury Capital of the World, and our Luxury product line addresses this market. With its launch in the fall of 2006, our customers can now experience Las Vegas (and several other destinations) from a whole different vantagepoint.

One of my favorite trips of all time was a week-long vacation to the Riviera Nayarit, Mexico with my best friend. One of the highlights of our trip was a day excursion to a small surfing village north of Puerto Vallarta called Sayulita. We caught a city bus near our hotel, which took us to the town of Bucerias. There’s a little market there for shopping while you wait for another bus to Sayulita. The ride there was probably around 20 minutes, but totally worth it. The town is this sleepy little village with a few shops and restaurants (we had ribs, tacos, nachos and beer for 2 and it cost us $10 with tip).
